Sharpen those crampons and ice tools and "Jumpstart" the 2025 ice climbing season in style with the AMC Boston Climbing Community at the historic Harvard Low Cabin! Use the cabin as your basecamp to gather with friends, share stories, and devise weekend adventures. All are welcome, whether you plan to volunteer with the 2024 Ice Program and want to get warmed up, or you just want to get out on some ice. The Harvard Low Cabin features a kitchen complete with dual ovens and refrigerator, potable water (sort of), an outhouse (see testimonial), and propane heaters on both floors to keep the chill out. Cabin guests should bring a sleeping pad and sleeping bag for use in the large loft space. Outdoor tent/bivy/hammock spots are available as well, however all participants must pay the fee to utilize the property in any capacity ($20 for one night, or $25 for the weekend). Registration will close on January 8, so don't delay (this is a popular weekend that will sell out quickly).
