Lloyd Hall Recreation Center, 1 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia PA,
Pennsylvania, Eastern,

Philadelphia is a city filled with unique Public Arts - an eclectic mix of statues and sculptures adorn the city and hide out in surprising places, and colorful murals and mosaics bring the streets to life. Our route will take us through many Philly neighborhoods seeking out the numerous works of art that the city has to offer. As I'm not a docent, this is not an 'art walk', but 'fun facts' will be provided about some of the more unusual or interesting works. Bring along water and snacks, we will stop mid-way through the hike for a short break. Steady rain cancels. Moderate pace, 7-9 miles in distance, 3.5 - 4 hours Logistics: Street Parking available on Sedgley Drive which intersects Boathouse Row at Lloyd Hall. Paid lots also available in the vicinity. We will meet in front of Lloyd Hall Recreation Center, where there are restrooms. Steady rain cancels - if in doubt, check with leader before 7am the morning of the hike or check status on outdoors.org
