Join our friendly group on a mid-winter walk north and south on the Delaware Canal towpath. The bridge between New Hope and Lambertville will be closed so we will walk 4 miles on the towpath on the PA side before turning around to return to our cars. On the way, we will stroll through New Hope where we will stop for lunch. Total distance will be 8 miles. Meet at 10 am in the parking lot behind Thompson Neely House on the river side of Route 32. You will pass over a bridge and the Delaware Canal just before the parking lot. Bring water and snacks and dress in layered clothing appropriate for the day's temperature. You can bring your own lunch or purchase your lunch from one of the vendors at the New Hope Ferry Market. Heavy snow, unrelenting rain or dangerous driving conditions will cancel the hike.
