This is "part two" of an AVIS property that we've done over the past couple of years, this time doing the western half of the trail along the Merrimack River, walking/hiking between 4 & 6 miles at a moderate pace. The trails are mostly flat with some uphill portions. Pack/wear: snack, water, hiking poles, sturdy footwear, warm layers, a hat and gloves. From Rt 93, take exit 42/River Road west for just over 2 miles then take a right on Ravens Bluff to the circle at the end where we'll meet (park anywhere along the side of the road).
