Overview

Approx. five (5) mile hike on rolling terrain with some rocky footing. Average hike pace will be a little over 1.5 mile per hour. Meet at 9:30 AM at the first parking lot on the right hand side of the entrance. Rain, snow or hazardous driving conditions cancels the hike. Because of hunting season, an orange hat or vest is suggested. Depending on trail conditions, poles and traction devices may also be useful. Following the hike participants are welcome to join the leaders for lunch at The Flour Girl Cafe. Please bring at least 1 quart of water, a trail snack, and wear sturdy shoes. Directions: Gay City is on Route 85 aka North St (435 North St) in Hebron.
