Overview

Hike of 5-6 miles on trails and woods roads. Elevation gain 450 feet. Come prepared for a winter hike. Wear hiking boots. Dress in layers. Avoid cotton as it readily absorbs perspiration and can lead to chill and risk of hypothermia. Bring traction devices such as MicroSpikes (Snowshoes if snow) and hiking poles if you use them. Bring snacks, lunch and water 1-2 quarts. Inclement weather - rain, snow or hazardous driving conditions will cancel the hike.
