Start the New Year off right with a moderate 8.5-mile hike. From Lake Skannantati located off Seven Lake Drive 41.241997, -74.102354, just north of R 106 junction in Harriman State Park. We will hike the long path to time square, to Island Pond where we'll have a short lunch stop. Back home via A-SB. 9:30 AM to ~ 2:30 PM Panda will not join us, and dogs are not allowed on this hike. She will join us again on Friday. This is a combined hike with hikers from Hank and my list, the AMC and Wed Hikers, and Westchester Hiker Meetup. Enjoy meeting new people. I am sure we will have WTA and ADK hikers and more. Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP. Rain will cancel, check in the morning if not sure. Hike will adjust to weather conditions.
