Gentle biking along South Holland's fabled low country and Flemish landscape. After a bike tour of Amsterdam, we will ride through Zeeland's polders (land enclosed by dikes and managed as a unit below the local water table), visit the UNESCO cultural heritage site, Kinderdijk, with its 19 windmills in a line, see the massive lock and wind farm of Kreekraksluis, discover historic, quaint Ghent, and see the work of master painter, Rubens. We will navigate the port of Antwerp to the city itself, known as the diamond center and capital of cool, and finish with a night at a 4-star spa hotel in perhaps the most beautiful Flemish city of all, Bruges. Accommodations: 3 star hotel, 4 star Hotel/Spa Duke's Palace, customized boutique boat, all double share with private en suite facilities.

Janis Stahlhut has been an AMC-AT leader/co-leader since 2008 and a world traveler and outdoor enthusiast throughout her adult life. She has led and co-led hiking and biking trips to Sicily, Spain, France, Italy, Finland, Norway, South America (Machu Picchu and Easter Island) and New Zealand. Janis teaches group exercise classes and works as a volunteer with pain and distressed patients at a local hospital as a student of Healing Touch therapy. Janis loves music, photography and baseball.

Dick Cable has been an AMC-AT leader since 2007 and has lead or co-led trips to Yosemite National Park, Mongolia, Sicily, mainland Italy, France, Czech Republic, Nepal and many other countries. He is an education programming specialist and teaches spinning and group exercise.
