Overview

Explore the solitude and beauty of Utah's less visited National Parks. Day hike among colorful and massive sandstone canyons, washes, arches, ridges and slot canyons. Five to 10 mile hikes everyday. Stay in modest motels in two quaint towns, travel in SUVs.

Ron is a hike leader for the NH Chapter of AMC He has climbed all the NH 4000 foot mountains, and many of the highest peaks in the U.S., including Mt.St.Helens, Mt.Rainier,Mt.Hood and Mt. Whitney. He has trekked in Bolivia,and completed the 105 mile Tour du Mont Blanc. He has led AMC trips to several National Parks in Utah, Olympic National Park,Sedona,the Cascade Mountains, Death Valley, Slovakia, Patagonia, Peru, Scotland, India, Switzerland and Ireland.

Leslie is a four-season hike leader with the Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter and is currently the SEM Hiking Chair. She has led hikes for AMC August Camp in the Pacific Northwest for the past four years and recently co-led AT trips to Utah and hiking the Haute Route in Switzerland.
